Peripheral ALPIL digital protocol adapter addresses 1996-99 Alpine interfacing in select Jaguar, Volvo, Mercedes Benz and Chrysler\'s vehicles. Compatibility and Notes: Please read all notes prior to purchasing this part. 1. The ALPIL will work with all Chrysler CD controllers that sport a \"MODE\" button. The ALPIL must be used on conjunction with Peripheral CHYALP adapter. (will not work without this additional part). 2. The ALPIL will work with all Volvo CD controllers radios model that begin with \"SC\" (i.e SC815, SC727 etc). The ALPIL must be used on conjunction with Peripheral VOLALP adapter. (will not work without this additional part). 3. The ALPIL will work with on Mercedes Benz CD controllers BE1692, CM2296 and CM2396.
